Top Cat is under option from the Pinchi Group (see press release dated July 23, 2019) and covers approximately 26,000 hectares in north-central BC. The Property hosts numerous mineral occurrences and areas of interest, including Cat Mountain, Nova, Slide and Haw-Dove-Raven. Top Cat largely encompasses the northerly extensions of the Lorraine geologic domain, including in large part the Duckling Creek suite of the Hogem Batholith.
Top Cat
Cat Mountain
Cat Mountain has seen over 10,000 metres of drilling in 69 drill holes completed between 1977 and 2007. Most holes are located within the Bet (western) and Hoffman (eastern) zones which are characterized by quartz-magnetite ± chalcopyrite-Au veins and as copper replacements in volcanic rocks. Highlights from historical drilling are included in Table 3, below, initially released by Serengeti on January 19th, 2020.

Historical Top Cat Drilling Results Notes:
- Results reported above were compiled by Serengeti Resources from historical analytical certificates appended to assessment reports filed with the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources.
- Interval lengths do not necessarily represent true widths of mineralized zones.
- Individual assay results for gold were capped at 10.0 g/t for compositing purposes.
The following table details several of the notable occurrences on the Top Cat Property:
Table 4: Notable Occurrences at Top Cat
Occurrence | Target Concept | Comments |
---|---|---|
Cat Mountain | Alkalic Cu-Au porphyry prospect close to the contact between the Ur Triassic Takla Group volcanics and an early Jurassic plutonic suite. | Has seen historic exploration, including nearly 10,000m in 69 holes. Historic drill results from the Bet zone include 122m @ 1.1g/t Au apparent width in hole 90-1 and 100m @ 1.36g/t Au in hole 94-1. Grab sampling of Au-Ag-Cu‐magnetite veins returned trace up to 548g/t Au. |
Slide | Alkalic Cu-Au porphyry prospect on the north margin of the Ducking Creek syenite complex. | Teck Cominco ran an IP survey over Slide that outlined a 1.5km-long chargeability anomaly, open to the northwest onto the optioned claims group. Cu-Au-Ag mineralisation was cut in two drill holes spaced 1000m apart testing the extents of surface mineralisation and IP chargeability anomalies. Hole JTM06-07 intersected 0.72% Cu over a core width of 55.5m and hole JTM06-10 intersected 0.64% Cu + 0.15 g/t Au + 30g/t Ag over a core width of 22.9m. |
Nova | Alkalic Cu-Au-PGE porphyry prospect | Recent work by Northwest (Serengeti) have identified a number of Cu-Au-Ag-Pd-Pt±Mo target areas associated with geophysical responses. A rock sample from 2019 returned 1.39% Cu, 0.69 g/t Au, 6.45 g/t Ag, 0.21 g/t Pt and 1.38 g/t Pd. |
