Social

NorthWest Copper makes understanding the social context where we explore a priority. While examining the geology and determining the mineral potential is the primary focus of exploration – having the ability to access the land, minimize environmental and social impacts, and create positive contributions to the local economy takes a strong commitment to collaboration and empowering communities through a shared decision framework built on trust and respect.

Across our pipeline of exploration projects, we work closely with Indigenous leaders and communities and other communities of interest to listen, learn and understand how our activities can impact them in a negative or positive way.  Through this active engagement and commitment to collaboration and empowerment we believe we can chart a path forward that leads to long term value creation for local communities.
