NorthWest Copper has an extensive portfolio of copper-gold projects which make us a compelling opportunity as demand for copper in the Green Economy increases.
Highlights include:
- A focus on high-grade copper mineralization over a large land package (175,000+ ha of tenure) in British Columbia, a tier one mining jurisdiction. Our projects are bookended by the long-life Mt. Milligan Mine and the past producing Kemess Mine.
- All of NorthWest Copper’s projects are proximal to necessary road and power infrastructure.
- Kwanika - Stardust is comprised of two advanced, high-grade Cu-Au-Ag deposits with several high-potential drill-ready resource expansion targets and a positive PEA completed in 2023.
- Lorraine - Top Cat includes a 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate completed in 2022 on the Lorraine Cu-Au-Ag±PGE deposit, with considerable scope for resource expansion, as our team has identified more than twenty+ Cu-Au prospects and targets at various stages of advancement including drill ready targets.
- Joint Advancement Opportunity with Lorraine - Top Cat and Kwanika - Stardust. Lorraine -Top Cat is ~45 km north of the Kwanika-Stardust mineral deposits with the potential for the two projects to be combined for a hub-and-spoke development1 based on a common processing facility.
- East Niv is a new Cu-Au-Ag porphyry system discovered in 2021, ~20 km south of the past producing Kemess Mine and its associated infrastructure.
- Northwest has several additional, early-stage Cu-Au projects that offer optionality for either exploration by NorthWest or for a potential partnership. These include, Arjay, Croy-Bloom, Tchentlo, Milligan West and UDS.
Footnote:
- Further studies are required to ascertain whether the projects could potentially be combined, including metallurgical test work, transportation studies, general engineering and geological modeling.
